Summary of Position
The Donations Associate is responsible for those activities involved with receiving, sorting, and preparing items and
parcels received from St. Joseph’s Indian School Donors and Benefactors. This is a full time nonexempt position.
Accountability
Reports to the Home & Office and Donations Manager.

Responsibilities
1. Receives donated items and sorts them based on area usage, i.e. student use, campus use, and mission outreach.
2. Prepares donated items for use in outreach programs.
3. Packages donations for various end users.
4. Greets and assists persons who are dropping off donations.
5. Ensures the donation box is maintained and empty in a timely fashion.
6. Keeps area clean and organized, to avoid unsafe working conditions.
7. Maintains accurate inventory of items in storage.
8. Performs other responsibilities as requested by their supervisor.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills required
Previous warehouse, retail, or customer service helpful
Must have the ability to positively portray the mission of St. Joseph’s Indian School
Valid Driver’s License
Physical Demands
May lift, carry, or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 25 lbs. with assistance if needed.
Uses both hands and wrists repetitively for prolonged periods.
Regularly bends, stoops, and crouches.
Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
Uses the abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly over time without becoming
fatigue.
