Residential Life
If you look at photographs of our campus in 1927, you see the typical grounds of a Federal institution – an orderly landscape that reinforced the regimented lifestyle of Chamberlain Indian School. That was the initial lifestyle of St. Joseph’s Indian School for many decades. Today you find a much different landscape. A walk or drive through campus shows a more personal,
open landscape, one that reflects the more personal and child-centered program we offer today.
