St. Joseph’s Marketing Department Wins Communicator Award
St. Joseph’s Indian School’s Integrated Marketing Department celebrates special recognition of its public service announcement (PSA), “More Than a School.” The PSA is the winner of a
Communicator Award Award of Excellence in the category Integrated Campaign Winner – Campaign-Non-Profit. It was one of only thirteen winners in this category. Entries are evaluated based on a standard of excellence in marketing and communications. Judging is based purely on the quality of craft, so sometimes, a category may have multiple winners or none at all. Entries are scored on a 100-point scale. Excellence winners receive a score of 90 or above.
Executive Director of Development Kory Christianson remarked, “We are honored to accept this award on behalf of the Lakota students who attend our “more than a school,” which offers cultural heritage, education, and healthcare in an environment of caring support. We are most grateful for the families who entrust their children to our care and the faithful donors who fund this important work. It is humbling to receive national recognition.”
The marketing team worked with 1stdegree Marketing & Public Relations to script and create the PSA. The PSA highlights the school’s students, staff and programs, telling the story of St. Joseph’s Indian School to a national audience.
