St. Joseph’s Indian School Bookmobile, Alumni Liaison Coming to Your Area!

During the summer months, St. Joseph’s bookmobile travels to communities throughout South Dakota to distribute free reading material for all ages and interests. For the second year, the bookmobile will have Native American books by Native American authors on board, one for each person who comes to the bookmobile. The arrangement was made possible through Bird Cage Book Store and Mercantile of Rapid City, S.D.

New this year on two routes only (see * below), a simple bike repair clinic will be at stops made from June 21 to 30. St. Joseph’s bike repairman will be on hand to troubleshoot and tighten up minor bicycle issues.

Besides sharing books this summer, Alumni Liaison Andy Lepkowski wants to connect with anyone who attended St. Joseph’s Indian School! Andy, volunteer staff and St. Joseph’s bookmobile will be in your area on the following dates. Times are approximate:
