The guiding principles that direct the work of St. Joseph’s include the same principles that direct all Catholic schools, the hopes of our founder, Fr. Leo John Dehon, and our partnership with Lakota families.
Our educational theory, as with all things at St. Joseph’s Indian School, is holistic. We strive to educate the whole child – mind, body, heart and spirit.
Our students in grades 1-12 number more than 200 each year. We have one first grade, and two each of grades 2-8 in our on-campus elementary school.
